The suspect from Lapai in Agaie Local Government Area of the state, who had been love advances to the casualty before the episode, raped her while coming back from Lagos to Lapai. He was however captured by a group of policemen joined to the Agaie division of the state while attempting to get away.
Namanene who asserted that he has "a weakness" for the casualty however did not know how to charm her, allegedly put on a show to be a business motorcyclist, while taking the corps member to her hotel, dragged her into the hedge, overwhelmed and sexually attacked her.
"I was advising her to cooperate with me that I just needed to express my fondness for her yet she can't. I beat her savagely until the point when she ended up frail. In the wake of assaulting her, I rode my cruiser away not realizing that the rage of the law would make up for lost time with me."
